Internet Standard is a symmetrical, fiber-optic broadband connection service with bandwidth of up to 1Gbps (higher bandwidths are implemented on a project basis).
As part of the service, the client receives:
- symmetrical fiber-optic connection,
- router with an active firewall and preconfigured security policy,
- TURBO!charge, i.e. the possibility of free connection acceleration to the maximum capacity
- vulnerability scans for broadcast IP addressing,
- the possibility of starting free data transmission to one of the 3S Data Centers (service provided within the 3S network).
Selection of appropriate hardware and its correct configuration is the responsibility of 3S specialists. The Customer may also order constant care over the equipment – software updates, setting up of security policies and ongoing configuration changes.
As part of the installation, vulnerability scans are carried out to confirm the correct configuration and to identify the level of security on the network and devices connected to the internet. The scans result in a report indicating the detected vulnerabilities and guidelines for their removal.
TURBO!charge is one of the most interesting and popular functionalities of the 3S Internet services. It allows to increase the speed of the connection several times, limited in time, to the maximum throughput of the port or to the maximum capacity of the end device, without additional charges.
Another important distinctive feature of the 3S Internet offer is the possibility of launching dedicated, secure data transmission to one of the 3S Data Center cluster facilities, from which customers can provide key services requiring high availability.
